Join us for a five-course wine dinner on the farm. We will be pairing spring fare with wines from Martian Ranch (Santa Ynez, California).

Martian Ranch is a biodynamically farmed 102-acre property in Los Alamos. It is the brainchild of Nan Helgeland and her husband Brian, both long-time Angelenos (Brian wrote the screenplays for L.A. Confidential and Mystic River). They combined their sons’ names, Martin and Ian, for the catchy brand name.

Martian Ranch has 20 acres of vines planted to 10 different grape varieties, each perfectly suited to the climate of the ranch. Martian Ranch is known for carefully farmed, vibrant natural wines, with Eric Bolton at the helm as winemaker.

Biodynamic principles, which take organic farming to the next level, strive to create a diversified and balanced ecosystem while focusing on the health and fertility of the soil. Lunar, solar, and cosmic rhythms are followed for all farming practices, which create an optimum environment for the vines. While these farming methods may be more labor intensive, the quality shows in each bottle, carefully crafted between the earth and the cosmos.

Winemaker Eric Bolton and owner Nan Helgeland will lead discussions of each wine pairing. Join us to meet Eric and Nan and experience their artisan wines paired with our farm-fresh food!

Please note that dinner reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE.  If for some reason you are unable to make it to your reserved dinner, you can transfer your reservation to another individual as long as we are notified via email of the transfer.
